AQUA SCUM Laundry Detergent

I love love the laundry detergent, but this scent just wasn't for me. It was strong and bitter smelling to me. :(

I have been making my own laundry detergent for years and bought this on a whim. It seems to be made with similar Ingredients and you only need a small scoop. The scent doesn't seem to carry over to the final dried clothing, but they do smell and look fresh and clean. I would try this product again in a different scent!

I've previously tried Cottonhead Ninny Muggins scented laundry detergent. I was pretty impressed at how little was needed to get my laundry fresh and clean- the scent didn't really stay after a dryer cycle, but my clothes was super soft and very fresh and clean smelling. This scent ( Aqua Scum) is a much stronger, fresher scent and lingers after the dryer cycle. When I first tested the Aqua Scum detergent, I had forgotten to add fabric softener to my cycle. All my softer cotton clothing ( tee shirts, light weight pants) still came out feeling as if I added softener. Only the heavier fabrics felt as if it was missing softness but not as stiff as I expected.
I'm also very sensitive to detergents. A lot on the market will make me feeling prickly and itchy. I was pleasantly surprised to not have any reaction.
I also really appreciate how they pack a lot of product into the container- usually I feel jipped when the full line is barely over half of the overall container. When I received mine, it seemed it was sealed and overfilled! What magic do they use to pack Very great value, you use so little and a tablespoon cleans a full load in the front loading hE washer.
